Congratulations on your decision to further your education and training!

Finding a place to live for the duration of your studies involves a number of important factors like location, affordability, credit rating, etc. By securing affordable and convenient housing prior to arriving at school, you alleviate the anxiety that comes with unfamiliar territory, and your time is free to focus on the details of your education. That is why your school has contracted with RNR Real Estate Marketing, LLC to assist in your relocation.

RNR Real Estate Marketing, LLC is an independent real estate property management company that specializes in student housing. We offer two student-housing options to meet your personal housing needs.

Option A - Shared Housing Program
The Shared Housing Program is reasonably priced, flexible, convenient and secure. This option combines the affordability of Dormitory Style Living with the independence and privacy of Apartment Living. It's ideal for single students of the same sex and a good way to establish independent living skills while making new friends.

  • Three to four Students share quality 2-3 bedroom apartments.
    • Usually there are two students per bedroom.
    • Private rooms are available but on a limited basis and at a greater cost. **
    • A preliminary questionnaire helps match students with similar interests and habits.
  • Apartments are ready for move-in upon your arrival.
  • Apartments are conveniently located close to your school.
  • Apartments are completely furnished with utilities paid.
  • Minimum income requirements are waived.
  • Lease agreements are customized to fit the school's term.
  • Individual lease agreements protect you if a roommate leaves.
    • You are not liable for roommate's portion of the rent.
    • You are not responsible for finding a new roommate.
  • Pets are not allowed in the Shared Housing Program.
  • Apartments are smoke, drug, and alcohol free.

** Not available for all schools. Please check for this school if you are interested.

Option B - Independent Housing Program
This option is designed for students who prefer their own choice of roommates and is ideal for couples and families. RNR acts as a full service Housing Locator to find students affordable apartments in the vicinity of their school. Working with the Independent Housing Program is a good way to establish credit and housing references.

  • Your roommate choices are not restricted.
  • RNR will work with you to find an apartment that accommodates your housing needs within your budget.
  • You select the apartment you want and go through the qualifying process.
    • Credit and Reference Checks (nonrefundable fee) for all adults who will live in the apartment.
    • Minimum Income Requirements
      • Standard Formula - Your income (wages, financial aid, or other verifiable means of paying rent) must be equal to two to three times the rental rate of your apartment.
      • If you do not meet this requirement, you will need a third party co-signer who becomes responsible for the entire rent in the event you or roommates can not pay it.
  • Lease agreements are directly with the apartment complex, which chooses length of lease (i.e., month-to-month, 6-month, year).
  • You pay your own deposits, fees and rent directly to the apartment complex.
  • You (or co-signer) are liable for the entire rent if your roommate leaves.
  • You must establish (get turned on) your own utilities and pay utility deposits
    • RNR will assist you with this process so that utilities are up and running upon your arrival.
    • Utility deposits are refundable upon termination if bills are paid and current.
  • Apartments are not furnished.
  • Some apartments accept pets with a deposit and possibly extra rent.
